Baking Memories
Welcome to Storybook Bakery, where we create delectable treats that fill your heart with joy and your taste buds with delight. Our passion for baking shines through in every cookie, cake, and pastry we make. From classic recipes to modern flavors, we blend tradition with innovation to bring you the best in baked goods.
Storybook Bakery was founded in January 2024 by our CEO and Head Baker, Caitlin Shea. Caitlin originally went to school to become a screenwriter and Storyteller. However, after a few years of working in the industry, she felt a desire for change. She originally wanted to be a writer because she wanted to make people happy with her stories, but the amount of red tape to involved took most of the joy out of her work. To help with the stress she started baking again, a hobby she'd had since learning as a child. She was inspired by the memories of how happy it made people when she would surprise them with her baked goods. In the summer of 2024, she started selling her baked goods at local farmer's markets and festivals and right away she knew this was her true passion. Flour, Sugar, and Butter were her new storytelling tools and the joy of customer's faces was better than any Critics review or award.
As of January 2025, Storybook Bakery is now a full-time business. We take special orders, make Custom Cakes, and sell at weekly farmers Markets throughout Spring, Summer, and Fall. At Storybook Bakery, we believe that every bite tells a story. Let us be a part of your special moments and celebrations, adding a touch of sweetness to your life.
